New course delivery
We are now setup and equipped to offer high quality blended classes, where we welcome students in person and students on-line in the same class. This is an advantage to all of those who prefer to attend the entire course from home, online, and for students who prefer face to face classes but love the chance to join online when, for any reason, they cannot physically come to class.
Please notice that classes advertised as 'ONLINE ONLY", are exclusively online, not in person.
Beginners A
Requirements
No previous knowledge required.
What will you learn
This course is for anyone starting from scratch or who has a minimum knowledge but would like to start from zero to make sure to learn all the fundamentals. You will learn to greet someone, introduce yourself and someone else; pronunciation rules, general first contact questions and answers; useful vocabulary and phrases to use during a trip to France or any other French speaking place. Basic grammar points ( articles, feminine, masculine, singular, plural; verbs in the present tense). You will learn to put together simple sentences using verbs in the present tense and more...

Requirements
Basic knowledge of the language, including simple verbs at the present tense for singular and plural persons.
What will you learn
Talking about free time and leisure activities, how often one does something; people's interests and occupations; expressing one's likes and dislikes. You will learn to describe a city, neighborhood; talk about quality of life in a given city; following and giving street directions; asking and telling time, ask questions about specific topics. Grammatically you will learn to use the present tense for all persons in all conjugations, regular and irregular verbs; adverbs of frequency; interrogatives; more prepositions and more.

Requirements
Knowledge of regular and irregular verbs in the present tense. Basic conversations skills
What will you learn
You will learn to read hotel brochures and websites. You will expand your vocabulary with useful terms for your trip to France or French speaking country and by the end of the course, you'll be able to book a room, make requests, complaints, comments ( positive and negatives); describe a perfect vacation, a perfect weekend; talk about past actions and understanding descriptions of past events. You will also learn to ask for and provide information on means of transport, prices and time. The grammar program includes modal verbs, adverbs, compound prepositions, past tense.

French Beginner/Traveller Intensive
Requirements No knowledge required What will you learn Are you travelling to France or to one of the many French-speaking locations soon and you are worried about not speaking the language? If so, this is the course for you! You will learn how to greet people, introduce and talk about yourself, order food, buy things, ask for directions, catch a train and much, much more... Through these lessons you will get the confidence needed to approach the native people, start conversation with them and feel more like a local than a tourist. You will also cover the basics of the grammar which will be necessary in case you wish to continue with your learning in the future. This course will also give you an insight about places not to miss, best things to do in each one of the seasons, pro and cons about places and times of the year, how to access "not too touristy" destinations, general behaviors, culture and lots of interesting information about the Frenchies!
