Course delivery

We are now setup and equipped to offer high quality blended classes, where we welcome students in person and students on-line in the same class. This is an advantage to all of those who prefer to attend the entire course from home, online, and for students who prefer face to face classes but love the chance to join online when, for any reason, they cannot physically come to class.
Please notice that, classes advertised as 'ONLINE ONLY", are exclusively online, not in person.

A2.1 Pre - Intermediate 
 
Available TERM 2 2025
Mondays 6.30pm-8pm from April 2025

Requirements
This course is suited to people who can use present, have knowledge of past tense ( preterito perfecto) but need to revise it and become stronger in using it in conversation
What will you learn ( amongs other things):
you will learn to give advice to people, describe feelings, talk about habits and difficulties, talk and comment past events, express length of time and events.
Grammar: Reflexive verbs, past tence ( preterito perfecto y preterito indefinido), adjectives, prepositions hasta, desde, durante; and more

A2.2  Pre - Intermediate 
 
Available in 2025

This course is suited to people who have studied present and past tenses in previous courses and that are ready to learn more advanced grammar topics and expand their vocabulary into more elaborated conversations.
What will you learn ( amongst other topics)
Describing one's personality and physical descriptions; making, accepting and refusing an invitation; describing actions which are going on right now. Understanding and writing short rental ads, giving and understanding home descriptions, expressing wishes, expressing the consequence of a possible hypothesis, expressing likes, dislikes; giving advice, complaining about someone and about unpleasant experience.
Grammar: Imperfect, present Gerund and present conditional are the main grammar topics will be covered in this course.

A2.3 Pre - Intermediate

Wednesdays 6.30pm-8pm from 16th of October 2024
 

This course is suited to people who is able to make conversation in present and past tenses, talking about experiences and general topics.
What will you learn ( amongst other topics)
You will learn to express intentions and desires, talk about past experiences with more details. Talk about preferences and eating habits.
Grammar: Irregular verbs in the past  and exceptions using preterito perfect and indefinito. More uses of Ser and Estar, and exceptions with the "imperativo" .

A2.4 Pre Intermediate

TERM 1 2025
Wednesdays 6.30pm-8pm from 12th February  2025



This is the last course of the A2 level. Students will be able to revise all the knowledge acquired in the past levels and put into practise through conversation drills. 

What will you learn ( amongst other topics)
You will learn to debate and argue about different topics, expressing your thoughts and ideas.

Grammar: Revision of all past tenses with the additions of forms to define time, memories, feelings.
