At The Language Hub, we believe kids should start learning a language as soon as possible, even babies can learn a foreign language if they get exposed to it! Never too early and never too late is our motto! So, whatever your kid's age is, don't delay it any further! Enrol him/her in one of our courses now!
Our French classes are the most popular in between the languages we offer! We have been running these classes since 2011 here in Manly and our little students keep returning term after term with outstanding results.
The main reasons why parents are enrolling their kids into our French classes are:
- French background : Most of our little students have one or both parents from France. Mums and dads wish their kids to learn their language and, even though they speak it at home, they find that the kids need some more encouragement to speak it. Seeing other children speaking French and having fun with the language encourage them to do the same.
- Travelling or relocating to France: More and more famiies are planning to travel or move to France or one of the many other French-speaking places for all different reasons.
Arriving to such location with some language definitely makes things easy for everyone and especially for children who are generally more exposed to the language while playing with local kids.
- Benefits of learning languages : Parents know that learning a language is like having an extra power. It is an asset to individuals, families, and our entire society. Bilingual children develop better communications skills and are more likely to empathise with others; they develop a strong sense of their cultural identity which can improve their mental health and establish a strong sense of self worth and they have a vast range of career opportunities not available to monolingual speakers.
Our classes are very casual, friendly and fun! French is taught by native teachers, through fun activities, songs and games. Groups are small and every child receive full attention and care. Classes run for 8 weeks and follow school terms.; one class per week.

These classes run for 8 weeks for 45 minutes each. Children are taught French through fun activities, drawings, colouring , games and songs. No writing or reading involved.
These classes are for kids from 4 to 5 years old, who are starting from scratch or have limited knowledge and ability to speak French . Teachers will liaise with kids in French as much as possible, but English will be used to translate and to reiforce concepts. |
6 to 10 years old kids
6 to 10 years old classes run for 8 weeks for one hour each week
At The Language Hub, kids learn French easily through fun games, videos, songs, art and crafts!
They are stimulated and encouraged to experiment the language through the wide range of activities and they start speaking French in a very natural and enjoyable way.
In addition to the French language, kids will learn about the culture, art, history and geography.
These classes are for children from 6 to 10 years old, who are starting from scratch or have limited knowledge and ability to speak French. Teachers will liaise with kids in French as much as possible, but English will be used to translate and to reiforce concepts.
Our teachers are all French mother tongue, experienced, professional, caring and fun.
Classes are held in our premises in Manly.

FAQ
can parents, carers be in class with the kids
For small kids, if necessary, we encorauge parents/carers to stay in class for awhile, especially the first and second class. After that, when kids feel comfortable with the teacher and the other children we suggest to wait in our reception room, just outside the classroom, as we find that kids listen and focus more without the parents/carers in class. For older kids, you are welcome to wait at the reception or to go out and come back when class is finished.
Do we need to buy material?
Material is generally included. We give handouts to take home so you can practise with your kids at your own time. Sometimes we suggest to buy a textbook in case we think the kids are advanced enough to use one.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE MISS A CLASS?
We offer discounts in case you are missing 3 or more classes in a term, provided you tell us before term starts. If it is a one off, you are welcome to join another class at any time, provided we offer the same age group class at any other time.
ARE THE TEACHERS MOTHERTONGUE?
Yes, all our teachers are mother tongue.
