At The Language Hub, we believe kids should start learning a language as soon as possible, even babies can learn a foreign language if they get exposed to it! Never too early and never too late is our motto! So, whatever your kid's age is, don't delay it any further! Enrol him/her in one of our courses now!
Our Spanish classes are the most popular in between the languages we offer! We have been running these classes since 2011 here in Manly and our little students keep returning term after term with outstanding results.
The main reasons why parents are enrolling their kids into our Spanish classes are:
- Spanish background : Most of our little students have parents from one of the many Spanish-speaking countries. Mums and dads wish their kids to learn their language and, even though they speak it at home, they find that the kids need some more encouragement to speak. Seeing other children speaking and having fun with the language encourage them to do the same.
- Exposure to the second most-spoken language in the world: If you don't have a particular reason to learn a specific language, it makes sense to learn Spanish as it is the second most-spoken language in the world and also the official language in 21 countries!!
- Benefits of learning languages : Parents know that learning a language is like having an extra power. It is an asset to individuals, families, and our entire society. Bilingual children develop better communications skills and are more likely to empathise with others; they develop a strong sense of their cultural identity which can improve their mental health and establish a strong sense of self worth and they have a vast range of career opportunities not available to monolingual speakers.
Our classes are very casual, friendly and fun! Spanish is taught by native teachers, through fun activities, songs and games. Groups are small and every child receive full attention and care. Classes run for 8 weeks and follow school terms.; one class per week.

Our Spanish classes for children run for 8 weeks, with each session lasting 45 minutes. Kids will learn Spanish through engaging activities like drawings, coloring, games, and songs, without any emphasis on writing or reading.
These classes are designed for children aged 4 to 6 years old who are either starting from scratch or have limited knowledge of the Spanish language. Our teachers will communicate with the children in Spanish as much as possible, while also using English to translate and reinforce concepts. Our goal is to make learning fun and enjoyable for your child while helping them develop their language skills. |

Our Spanish classes for children aged 6 to 10 are designed to make language learning both effective and fun. With classes running for 9 weeks, each session lasts for one hour and incorporates a wide range of engaging activities, including games, videos and songs, but also engages older kids with writing and reading exercises.
At The Language Hub, we believe in creating a stimulating and encouraging environment for our young learners. Our classes provide ample opportunities for children to experiment with the Spanish language and begin speaking it in a natural and enjoyable way. In addition to language learning, children will also gain insight into the culture, art, history, and geography of Spanish-speaking countries. All of our teachers are native Spanish speakers with extensive experience in teaching children. They are not only professional and caring but also passionate about making language learning a fun and enjoyable experience for their students. The program includes a variety of activities focused on improving all aspects of language learning, including speaking, reading, writing, and listening. While the classes may be more structured than our younger kids' classes, we still believe that fun and play are important learning tools, even at this age. FAQ
can parents, carers be in class with the kids
For small kids, if necessary, we encorauge parents/carers to stay in class for awhile, especially the first and second class. After that, when kids feel comfortable with the teacher and the other children we suggest to wait in our reception room, just outside the classroom, as we find that kids listen and focus more without the parents/carers in class. For older kids, you are welcome to wait at the reception or to go out and come back when class is finished.
Do we need to buy material?
No, material is included. We give handouts to take home so you can practise with your kids at your own time.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE MISS A CLASS?
We offer discounts in case you are missing 3 or more classes in a term, provided you tell us before term starts. If it is a one off, you are welcome to join another class at any time, provided we offer the same age group class at any other time.
